Traffic information will affect travelers ' traffic behavior,the impact including both random traffic choice behavior and day-to-day route choice behavior.The information preference of travelers under day-to-day route choice is dynamical,also,different travelers have different information preference on same traffic information.However,there is very few research in the existing route choice experiment and related model about the dynamic and distribution of travelers' information preference.Using traffic simulation software written in C# language,we set up experiment scenes under different traffic information release method.The information preference factor is used to represent the weight of certain types of information in the formation of travel time forecasts under day-to-day route choice.We study the dynamic and distribution of travelers' information preference and analyze the information preference changes under different traffic information release method.The experimental traffic network consist two parallel routes.The experiment involving thirty subjects was conducted over a 30-period time span each in two groups.In the first group,participants received only historical information on travel times of each route.In the second group,participants received both historical information and forecast information on travel times of each route.The main conclusions are as follows.Compared with only historical information provided,providing forecast information at the same time can accelerate the evolution of common network status to the user equilibrium.Dynamics of individual' information preference factor of perception time have three types: smooth-shock type,declineshock type,ascend-shock type.The information preference factor of perception time increase at first and then gradually become relatively stable,but still fluctuating.The information preference factor of perception time obeys the normal distribution.Compared with only historical information provided,providing forecast information at the same time can reduce information preference of perception time,and increase information preference of historical information.
