Research On The Evaluation Of Feng Shui Site Selection In The Ancient Towns Of Chongqing

Since the beginning of the primitive society, Fengshui has gratually formed a complete set of theory after a long process of development to guide the location and layout of the city and the settlement, the construction and decoration of the buildings, which have been very important part in Chinese history and culture. As the carrier of the regional culture, the old towns have recorded the context of the development about the theory of Fengshui location, which mark the traces of Fengshui everywhere. As the historical evolution of the process being different, the ancient towns in different regions have formed their own regional characteristics. Ancient town of Chongqing is the precipitation of historical and cultural heritage, which has the unique charm and has been the cornerstone of the protection and inheritance of Chongqing mountain culture.This paper, supported by the national "Twelve / five" science and technology support program, "the Key Technology and Demonstration of the Planning and Protection of Traditional Residential Buildings in Mountainous Areas"(BAJ201311B04), based on the Fengshui Theory, summarizes the domestic and foreign research status of Fengshui location, combined with geography, planning and other knowledge, making full use of the opportunities of field survey, and collection site biography of mountain ancient towns of Chongqing. Through the study of Fengshui theory, and analyze their scientific and limitations that Fengshui is the connotation of science, superstition coat. On the basis of Fengshui "Mi Long", "Cha Sha", " Guan Shui", "Dian Xue" and "Qu Xiang" five key steps to interpret, from the perspective of modern geography to be translated into "geology", "topography", "climate", "water", "soil" and "natural vegetation", and choose the typical impact factor. Used the analytic hierarchy process(AHP) as the main technical means to calculate the weight of the value of the calculation. And the evaluation system of the ancient town’s location in the mountainous areas in Chongqing, including "geology", "topography", "climate", "water", "soil", and "natural landscape" as the second types of evaluation index, "geological formations", "geotechnical characteristics", and "elevation", as 18 evaluation index in the thirdly, is constructed. The first part of the evaluation system is geological hazard classification, the second part of the evaluation level is determined. The evaluation results can divided into five levels: A level ——very suitable siting area, A- level ——preferably suitable siting area, B level ——appropriate siting area, C level —— inappropriate siting area and D —— poor siting area. Finally, it takes the An Ju Town and Gong Tan town as examples. Meanwhile, GIS and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method are combined with the results of operation analysis, which ensure the feasibility of the evaluation system.In addition to the regional features, the evaluation system, established in this essay, about the location of the traditional residence in mountainous areas, is also conducive to the development of the protection measures with the characteristics of the location of the mountain. Moreover, the site selection can be optimized by means of the transformation of Fengshui. Above all, the role of Fengshui Location Theory in the protection and development of traditional folk houses in mountainous areas will get exploited.
