With the speeding up of industrialization process in our country, the demand for energy is increasing, but with the traditional fossil energy exhausting and environmental protection requirements, development of new clean energy is a kind of inevitable choice; Nuclear power as a kind of high efficiency, environmental protection, renewable and technically feasible new energy, with broad space for development.This article describes the current situation of international and domestic construction of the nuclear reactor, the latest fourth-generation HTR domestic carrier, carried out the control rod position drive design.Reaction control rod and its drive mechanism is reactor first shutdown system, by adjusting the control rod and the reaction liquid contact depth to reactor start-up, stop the work of the reactor, to control the size of the intensity of the reaction and output energy.Control rod drive is a stepper motor control device, its function is according to the reactor upper control system command signal, driving control rod stepper motors, drives the control actuator rod lifting, insert and keep the action and feedback to a machine on the state of the driver.Control rod motor driver using drawing box type structure design, built-in two drive module(A / B) and driver modules A and B complete function into the drive monomer, its function including basic motor drive function, functional machine, sub-operating mode, current setting and automatic current function of conservation, frequency cut-off function, voltage and current protection function, feedback brake protection function and motor and drive state feedback function.At the same time, the drive module also has a hot backup function and online replacement function,between the drive module A and B by the method of communication and direct way to maintain a "heartbeat" and inform the running state of each other,once the current drive module failure, standby drive module is enabled immediately, and the fault status notification to the host computer, as far as possible to reduce the number of unplanned downtime, improve the reliability of the drive to achieve nuclear power plant reactor safety and economy.
