Conceptual design increasingly plays an important role in product design. That the information in the conceptual design phase is often incomplete or inaccurate provides space for design innovation, and also provides enormous challenges for design automation.The way of designer freehand sketch directly with the computer interactively, constructs a new type of design system to support the innovation process, and that plays an important role in the process of innovation activity and design a new product.This paper combines the freehand sketch recognition technology with kinematic analysis of mechanism, and constructs a technology system of mechanism design and evaluation analysis for sketch. Therefore, the paper studies data acquisition principle of electromagnetic induction type hand-painted plate, builds sketch design environment, and realizes the import of mechanism sketches. To realizes primitive segmentation, minimum distance method and angle variation method are combined. Through establishing the graphics template library and using structural pattern recognition method to complete engineering semantic mapping and then realizes the digital expression of mechanism design, which can lay the foundation of establishing the three-dimensional modeL The ADAMS software is selected to be a platform to support dynamics analysis and kinematic analysis. In order to realize the rationality of design scheme evaluation of mechanism, the information transfer mechanism of sketch and parametric modeling module of ADAMS software is established.Taking slider-crank mechanism and four bar linkage for test example, and under the support of the digital design environment, the sketch design and the analysis and evaluation of mechanism has been finished, also the validity of the thesis research technology solutions has been verified. The results of the thesis has a certain reference significance for digital innovation design.
