The sketch is a visual medium that conveys the emotional image of design and the actual function of the product,which can convey the meaning of the intellectual spirit.Industrial design products from design sketches to product image modeling are closely related to the designer's creative thinking.It focuses on the designer's most important creative thinking of product design.Sketch design activities are not confined to a link or a task,but by the series multiple design phase.This topic will be from the designer cognitive processing,output sketch,perceptual evaluation of three aspects of research,integrating use of spoken language analysis,Kansei Engineering technology,eye tracking technology for the designers to study the complete design process.Based on the Kansei evaluation,the paper explores the cognitive differences between the designers of different cognitive characteristics from the design of industrial design products to the product modeling process,as well as the correlation between the design sketch and the cognitive difference.A holistic view of design activities can help to fully interpret the cognitive differences of designers and the causes of different factors,so as to help optimize the design of the future.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)In order to explore the different thinking styles of the designers with different cognitive characteristics in the process of product sketch creation,the paper uses the oral analysis method to quantify the information reception,interpretation and visualization of the process of thinking.Spearman Rank was used to calculate the correlation between the design quality of the designer and the design steps,found that the number of the primary designer scheme output but low quality,greater reliance on the stimulus information;intermediate designer can regulate the design process and resource allocation scheme,its quality is affected by many factors,but also helps the system to complete the design task and quality optimization.This is helpful to find out the factors that affect the quality of different designers,and improve the optimization in the later stage.(2)(2)Through the collection of original sketch samples produced and the original sensual vocabulary pairs in the group,using the method of morphological analysis and card method obtained 24 hair dryer sketch design characteristic elements,and use the survey questionnaire and multidimensional scaling analysis clustering analysis refining typical emotional vocabulary to 6 groups.The optimal combination scheme of typical sketch is constructed by analytic hierarchy process(AHP),to obtain six optimization sketches and six non-optimized sketches of the image of the hair dryer.Compared with the traditional brainstorming,the design sketch of the reorganization ensures that the product modeling has pertinence,controllability and scientific validity in the initial stage of divergent thinking.(3)This study using eye tracking technology to collect different cognitive features of process designers sketch eye movement pattern.Through the comparative analysis found that the primary designers of visual search attention is difficult to concentrate on important perceptual image feature elements,they often through frequent saccades to form the sketch modeling concept in in the brain,but the emotion judgment accuracy and uniformity is higher than intermediate designers.Intermediate designers are more effective to extend visual increase attention to interpret sketches,although its emotional judgment high strength.It is helpful to improve the accuracy of the evaluation of the design draft plan and avoid the deviation caused by experience,and obtain the product concentration observation area to help find the design point.
