| As a kind of special soil, loess is widely distributed in the Midwest of our country, with the rapid development of economy, in the loess area, become the target of increasing engineering construction area. But because of natural loess soils under load, water, environment and other factors, and then the strength and deformation index change. Reinforced loess are commonly used in construction of a way to change the nature of the soil. Through the analysis of the strength and deformation of reinforced loess soil indicators, for engineering design personnel to choose the appropriate index of reinforced soil body, for our country’s rapid economic development has an important significance.In this paper, on the basis of predecessors’ research on reinforced loess, PY-10 plane strain gauge is used to study reinforced loess soil under plane strain condition of strength and deformation characteristics, contains different consolidation confining pressure and moisture content, dry density and different reinforcement layers. The specific conclusions are as follows:(1) Under the condition of plane strain tests, reinforced the major principal stress difference curve of stress-strain relationship of loess are hardening type curve, in line with the hyperbolic model, the greater the confining pressure, the greater the dry density and initial consolidation, the lower the moisture content and reinforced layer, the more the greater the initial tangent modulus curve, and hardening of the trend, the more obvious.(2)Under the condition of plane strain tests, reinforced loess principal differential stress-strain relationship curve presents the regularity of difference is bigger, the curve in low consolidation confining pressure, the density of low moisture content and political circumstances occurrence peak; Consolidation confining pressure is constant, the different principal stress in the reinforced layer under the curve of stress-strain relationship present similar law; The moisture content is smaller, the curve peak and the greater the corresponding axial strain; The density, the greater the peak curve and the corresponding axial strain.(3) Under the condition of plane strain tests, on the initial conditions on the shear strength of reinforced loess are analyzed. The results show that the initial consolidation confining pressure and moisture content, dry density of soil cohesive force, internal friction Angle has little effect; Along with the increase in reinforcement layer, increase the cohesive force, internal friction Angle instead of a certain extent, reduce; Moisture content is larger when the reinforced loess of cohesive force and the internal friction of no longer changes obviously with the increase of moisture content. |
