Network Planning Of Customized City Bus Service

Since 2013, Beijing launched the first customized city bus service line later, this new operation model of transportation has been opened in a number of cities in our country. This new operation model of transportation provides a new choice for urban residents’travel, which facilitates the same or similar passenger travel demand greatly and meets their requirements of travel speed and comfort. Because the development time of customized city bus service (CCBS) is short, leading to the CCBS line network planning research is relatively backward and the CCBS line cannot be opened in many locations. Cause that the current CCBS coverage is small and the line network planning chaos. Taking this as the breakthrough point, this paper analyzes the main factors that affect the planning of public transit line network, establishes the optimization model, and constructs the Chengdu city custom bus line network.First of all, the thesis systematically generalized the definition and service elements of the CCBS,and summarized the advantage of the CCBS, and analyzed the function positioning of the CCBS from using population, scope of services, using travel time and traffic and other aspects; In the study of demand characteristics of the CCBS, the thesis considered that the demand for the CCBS has strong timeliness and certainty, and the traditional method is not applicable to the prediction of the demand, and given a method of the demand information acquisition and preprocessing method of the CCBSThen, the thesis used the thinking of AHP-"point", "line", "surface", on the basis of the needs investigation, to meet the needs of residents travel and reduce operating costs as the core of the line network and with attendance constraints, time windows, passenger capacity constraints, and the maximum number of nodes connected to the line as the constraints established the line network planning model of CCBS and given algorithm.And the algorithm is applied to the CCBS system in Chengdu. And the thesis constructed the line network of CCBS consisting of 126 lines.Finally, the thesis analyzed the fragile and vulnerable reasons of the CCBS and proposed some security maintenance for the CCBS system, such as, founded bus college classes, establish information query platform, the establishment of independent stops, a clear identity management practices and recommendations.
