The Research Of Several Issues Related To Railway Communication

With the rapid development of society and the quickly boosted speed of Chinese rails, the requirement for railways has become higher and higher. Demands like high-speed, high-density, high-precision, high-volume, and high-efficiency make existing railway communication systems facing loads of challenges. Security has become a foundation requirement of railway communications. Especially after 7.23 Yong-Wen accident, people give more and more concern about the China Railway Communication safety.As a foundation and an important part of the modernization of railways, railway communication system has been required to constantly satisfy new development needs, so that every single process of the operations can be completed safely and efficiently. Newly developed systems like Centralized Traffic Control (CTC),Chinese train control system (CTCS), lane detection, track monitoring, emergency rescue communications system and security alarm system directly affect the railway transportation safety. They have become essential parts for function of railway system. And Ticket sale and booking systems, trucks tracking system and container management system have been largely affect people’s lives, which mean enormous social influence. However, along with the development, many security problems of railway communication have become increasingly prominent. Due to the comprehensive service platform, communication lines, SDH, data communication system, integrated wireless communication system for GSM-R based service platform, once a problem has a wide range of influence, so the security issue is particularly prominent and important. However, in the day-to-day maintenance of these platforms have some safety problems. Based on railway communication system, basic structure through refer to the analysis of various literature, combining with the current status of railway communication safety and routine maintenance experience, In this paper, focus on and solve the following questions:maintaining and monitoring problem of integrated business hosting platform, communication transmission channel security, SDH application and network planning, data communication system configuration safety, backup safety of integrated wireless communication system-GSM-R network subsystem (NSS)-exchange subsystem (SSS), and the maintenance of base station subsystem (BSS).
