Research On The Relationship Between Safety Climate And Safety Performance Of Railway Transportation Enterprises

With the rapid development of China’s railway modernization, "the 13th Five-Year Plan Period" railway will speed up the "going out" strategy. China’s railway development has been the production and transportation safety as the primary task, although in recent years the national railway traffic accident rate and the death toll is gradually reduced, but the overall presents the accident and the death toll is still relatively large. The vast majority of accidents are due to the lack of safety awareness of employees, lack of safety knowledge and lack of responsibility for security work and other factors. A good safety climate will help to mobilize the enthusiasm of the staff, and encourage employees to actively obtain safety knowledge, to avoid accidents and injuries. This paper takes railway transportation enterprises as the research object, carries on the empirical research to the present situation and the relationship between the safety climate and safety performance.On the basis of theoretical research, this paper makes a survey on the safety climate and safety performance of the Zohar and Neal, and applies the AMOS and SPSS software to analyze the data, such as factor analysis, difference analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results are as follows:228:The safety level of the railway drivers is in the middle level, and the safety training and management of the enterprise is relatively high, the safety performance of the railway drivers is in the middle level, and the safety participation score is lower. Safety attitude, safety training and safety awareness are positively related to safety performance.In the end of this paper, we propose measures to improve the safety management of railway transportation enterprises from the aspects of improving the safety climate and improving the safety performance of the railway drivers.
