| Aim at being used in the military environment, a military laser communications system based on QD (Quadrant Detector) for simultaneous communications and tracking is under consideration. The overall design of the military laser communications system based on QD for simultaneous communications and tracking is given preliminarily in this paper, and also the research and unit design of the key detecting technology based on QD for simultaneous communications and tracking are present.In this paper the analysis of military constraint condition is udergone firstly, and a military laser communications system based on QD for simultaneous communications and tracking is given based on it. The given system has the advantages of simple structure, small weight and size, efficiency utilization of signal beam, inhibition of the atmospheric effects and so on. Then we analysis the principle of the detecting technology based on QD for simultaneous communications and tracking, and present the unit design. At last the testing system is setted up for testing the detecting performance of QD and verifying the feasibility of the detecting technology based on QD for simultaneous communications and tracking. The result show that the detecting range of QD is about±0.6mm, and spatial resolution of QD reachs to about1.5μm while the diameter of light spot is about the half of the QD’s in the high SNR condition. Also the feasibility of the detecting technology that presented in this paper is verified under modulation bandwidth of30kHz. |
