Reaserch Of The Space Layout And Architectural Characteristics In Guyao Village Of Shantou,Zibo

Guyao village’s residential characteristics formed in the cradle of ceramics culture in Boshan. The Guyao village have been forming gradually under the influence the unique ceramic culture of Boshan.The birth, formation and development of the village not only recorded the evolution of the external morphological characteristics, but also the cultural civilization of several generations of the village.According to the two points,the Guyao village, from the date of birth, is the inheritance embodies the culture of Boshan, the blend of the local ceramic culture and architectural culture and the great crystallization people’s labor of Boshan as well. The unique residential architectural characteristic should have played its cultural, economic and political value in the regional residential buildings.However, this precious building heritage haven’t been emphasized by local public and government. There are two main reasons, one is that the ceramic industry is gradually replaced by the tourism industry after 1990 s, and mass production instead of the original Guyao guilds, leading to setbacks of ceramic industry production quality.The other, as everyone knows, is that modern Urbanization of villages and towns is gradually replacing the traditional architectures with the accelerating urbanization,, generating intensified contradictions between "modern" and "tradition" which is also paradoxes of over rapid urbanization in china. If the related research is not carried out, the traditional houses in Boshan will face with a precarious situation.In this paper, starting from the study of the Guyao village Shantou town of Boshan space layout and the construction of patterns, to today’s township development and continuation of there are two important aspects of the value. On the one hand,researching space layout and architectural forms of the village is a good inheritance and development to Boshan culture and Chinese traditional culture protecting. On the other hand, summed up the architectural features of the Guyao village is small a kind of effective method to residential building design of Boshan and urban architectural design.The first part described exhaustive research from the natural and geographical conditions and historical and cultural evolution of the Guyao village and clarified present development of the Guyao village, preparing for the research of detail research.The second part summed up the deficiencies of traditional houses architecturalelements and residential buildings from the overall space layout and residential architectural forms the of Guyao village.The last part is making suggestion to protect and develop the Guyao village,through doing the further analysis to explore the cultural background and the historical evolution of the Guyao village, this paper points out the development directions to residential construction of the Guyao village and puts forward some innovative suggestions respectively from the village itself and surrounding villages environment construction...
