As the core of CTCS(China Train Control System), voerspeed protection of on-board ATP equipment is a key issue of train automatic control system. According to comprehensive information of on-board equipment and trackside equipment, on-board ATP equipment generates objective-distance mode profile to achieve train automatic overspeed protection. The paper deeply studied speed measuring and ranging key technology of CTCS on-board ATP equipment, which includes generation of mode profile, calculation of braking disatance and location method based on coordinate system of balise. At last, a field case of CTCS2-200 C on-board equipment is provided to explain the role of location balise in the proces of location verification.According to error accumulation problem and dependence problem of location balise, error sources of the measuring system are analyzed, and corresponding compensation measures based on characteristics of different error sources are proposed in the paper. In view of the main slide & slip error, the state detection method of idling sliding based on fixed threshold method is presented, and acceleration sensor is adopted to enhance detection ability of weak slide & slip. In addition, different error compensation algorithms are briefly discussed and multi-sensor information fusion technology is put forward to reduce the error of speed and distance measurement.On the basis of this, the paper focuses on the multi sensor information fusion technology, analyzes and compares the advantages and disadvantages of different types of information fusion structure. According to the characteristics of different sensors, to further study of the discussed optimal information fusion estimation method, establishing train state description equation and the information processing algorithm model, specific research on the application of fusion methods based on Kalman filter. By comparing the characteristics of different sensors, the measurement model is processed, and the classical information fusion algorithm is applied to high-speed train speed detection and positioning. The algorithm of multi sensor information fusion based on federal Calman filter is studied, and the simulation experiment is carried out using MATLAB. The scheme can improve the accuracy of speed position information.Referring to the ERTMS standard related function specification, the system framework of the speed measurement and distance measurement system and the ERTMS core interface is proposed. This framework is wide and flexible, and the standard of communication protocol is defined. From the actual development, according to the system requirements specification and FIS interface requirements, the design of the software and hardware framework of the system, the software and the test software and the preliminary voting function test. The platform fully considers the scalability and generality, and lays a foundation for the research on the addition of redundant sensors and the fusion algorithm in the future.
