As an irresistible force,the flood disaster is deeply harmful to the rapid development of the river-side city.In recent years,due to the wanton destruction of upstream vegetation,the effect of reducing the eliminate summit of water storage resulted in that the possibility of urban flood risk has greatly increased.On account of many cities where have concentration of population and industry-intensive are built along the river,over-level flood and other conditions will lead to huge losses and impact.Therefore,it is necessary to compile the urban flood hazard map,this work is the first step from flood prevention to management.The research area is Hanbin district in Ankang city where be divided to north and south by Hanjiang River,each of side had bulit the dike.In this paper,the following work has been made in the study of numerical simulation of flood routing and flood hazard map of Ankang city.(1)MIKE11 hydrodynamic model which has been added the Dambreak dam break module was constructed by generalizing river network,determining roughness and the upper and lower bounds of the study area model.(2)The terrain file was used to create the regional terrain mesh and completed the MIKE21 hydrodynamic model.The connection mode of 1d and 2d mode in MIKE FLOOD was studied to build the coupling model.The model coupling results are verified reasonable and reliable by the measured results of flood in 2005 and2010,river section water depth and submerged area have less deviation.(3)Dike break positions, shapes, timings and bottom elevation was set up,also the dike break flood routing scheme in Ankang city was determined.The completed 1d and 2d coupling model of dike break was used for design scheme,the flood routing analysis and rationality analysis were carried out at Baimiao Village dike-break and Panjiakeng dike-break.(4)After the results of flood calculation in the model were extracted,the work of flood impact analysis and flood loss analysis for each program were analyzed.Bystudying the basic drawing process and compiling method of flood hazard map,results of model calculation and loss evaluation were applied to the flood risk map of Ankang city.Besides,the water depth, duration and time of arrival of dike-break flood in the flood risk map of Ankang city are plotted.Dike-break flood routing model of Ankang city takes the advantages of 1d and2 d model by dynamic coupling.Simulation of dike-break flood routing conforms to the actual process,flood hazard map based on the results of this model can provide technical hosting for the flood control and disaster reduction decision of the government units.
