| With the acceleration of the railway vehicle speed, more strict standards of deformation and bearing capability of earth structure under railway track are proposed. Corrugated Steel Pipe Culvert, a flexible structure, has advantage in technical and economic aspects. In this thesis, the effects of fill static loads and dynamic vehicle loads on bearing and deformation characteristics of Corrugated Steel Pipe Culvert have been investigated. In addition, the key design parameters of culvert including the height of fill, the thickness of pipe, the diameter of pipe, the modulus of fill soil, axle loads of vehicle, speed of vehicle also have been investigated. Main achievements are listed as following:(1) Investigation of the distribution of ring stress, axial stress, von-mises stress and ring soil press.(2) As main loads the buried culvert bearing, the height of fill has important influence on stress and deformation of culvert.(3) The waveforms, thickness of pipe and diameter of pipe has different influence on the performance of pipe.(4) With the increasing of the modulus of fill soil, the stress and deformation of culvert both decrease.(5) To treat the dynamic load as static load, the increment of stress and deformation are different.(6) With the increasing of the axle loads and speed of vehicle, the stress and deformation of culvert both increase nonlinearly. The axle loads of vehicle has relative greater influence on deformation than speed within the 250km/h. |
