With the development of the city, more and more high-rise buildings are being developed,and putting out high-rise building fire accident has become an major technical problems need to solve.According to the fire-extinguishing principle of hot aerosol, put the fire-extinguishing agent into the projectile and launch the projectile into the ultra-high-rise buildings by pneumatic cannon. Then the fire-extinguishing agent burnt and spewed out form the projectile and form aerosol. The aerosol diffused around the fire and put out the fire.This thesis system established the mathematical model of interior ballistics and external ballistics according to using the technical indicators given by enterprise. By using the software MATLAB, interior ballistics equation and external ballistics equation carried on, and the relation of chamber pressure and muzzle initial velocity and the relation of muzzle initial velocity and range are established. According to interior ballistics equation, the change curves of interior ballistics parameters are deduced. Then this thesis uses the efficient set algorithm for MATLAB optimization toolbox to optimize the interior ballistics. On the basis of external ballistics equation, the fire-extinguishing projectile table database of external ballistics is established.Projectile structure is determined and the launching security analysis is checked according to the external ballistics parameters and the fire-extinguish technical indicators.Gun barrel structure is determined and the launching strength is checked according to the interior ballistics parameters. Operational principle of pneumatic cannon was analyzed and inflation system was discussed. Combining hydrodynamics with thermodynamics to establish the mathematical model of release mechanism and research two kinds Release mechanism,and focus on the study of the characteristics of cone valve motion process. The cone valve motion is divided into three stages, and then we analyze the dynamic characteristics of the three stages.
