Although traditional shaped charge of air and missile defense warhead penetration ability is strong, but the perforation aperture is small; and traditional axial prefabricated fragments of air and missile defense warhead perforation aperture is large, but the penetration ability is weak. In order to solve the shortcomings of the single warhead, this paper designed a new type structure of air and missile defense warhead by EFP/fragment combined, it has the characteristics of strong penetration ability and big-hole, effectively against air targets.On the basis of air and missile defense warhead technology at domestic and abroad, this paper designs a new structure of air and missile defense warhead by EFP/fragment composition, by using analytical method, the software of ANSYS/AUTODYN-3D display nonlinear finite element program was used to simulated the forming process of the new structure, The law of structure parameters, included internal cover structure、liner material、the distance d between the liner top and the charge bottom、cone angle alpha、the material between the fragments、the arrangement of axial preformed fragments, influenced the kill element forming and morphology and prefabricated fragment velocity were analyzed in this paper, then the selection of the optimum scheme. Finally taking Exocet anti-ship missile of different segment as the target, the damage situation of the new structure of residual target after penetration target was analyzed, comparing with the traditional two kinds of typical structure.The results show that:(1) Compared with the traditional axial combat, the new type of air defense missile warhead structure can form two model kill elements, and have the characteristics of strong penetration, big perforation aperture.(2) With the increase of the distance from top of liner to explosive charge, destroying elements formed by liner transition from cluster destroying elements to single EFP gradually and the performance parameter is the best when the distance is 18 mm. Considering the damage effect to the targets, OFHC、molybdenum material are taken as the liner material, the former shows that well penetration depth performance and the latter shows larger penetration diameter.(3) Analysis the effect of filler material and arrangement mode of the fragments on destroying elements of EFP/fragments combined warhead forming, through comparing the simulation results, it shows that filler material is rubbery polymer, and the arrangement mode is non-close-packed arrays.(3) Take Exocet anti-ship missile as target, compare and analysis the process of three kinds of destroying elements penetrate different section. Simulation results show that EFP/fragment combined air defense and antimissile warhead not only has characteristics of great penetration ability of traditional EFP and big damage area of fragment but also has ambitions after effect penetration ability, and it can penetrate 10 mm thickness of after effect steel target.
