With the rapid development of the electric power industry, more and more strict in the quality of electric energy, only by adjusting the voltage of the generator, changing the transformer ratio, switching capacitor group already can not meet the requirements of voltage regulation, ensure system running closer to the rated voltage and higher power factor has become the ultimate goal of various control methods. In this paper, to embed the VQC monitoring system, using the monitor to the power grid operation data such as current, voltage, after processing analysis, choose the control strategy, eralizing voltage and reactive power automatic adjustment.This paper introduces the commonly used reactive power sources, generatords, phase modifiers, capacitors, static compensators and static condenser-statcons. Elaborated separately using these components to the principle of voltage adjustment.With the introduction of the substation voltage quality controll device, analyzeing the principle of substation voltage quality control, puting forward the guarantee the voltage and reactive power in the qualified range, adjustment measures and optimizing the control device of control target, and designing a scheme of realization of substation voltage quality control controlAccording to the upper and lower limits of voltage and reactive power,the voltage and reactive power plane is divided into nine areas.In different regions of the nine-area control strategy of control are analyzed in detail.According to the design of the system parameters and target, in this paper, the voltage and reactive power control system device for the selection, design the main circuit of the control device, Analog signal acquisition circuit, switch signal input circuit.In this paper, we take the 1 10kV/10kV step-down substation system as the control of the image,using MATLAB to establish the model of substation system. The digital simulation of VQC is carried out by using the nine zone control strategy, found that the transformer voltage reactive-power integrated control make originally don’t work in the area of 9 state transition to 9 area.imulation showed that the VQC based on nine zone control strategy can keep the power system in close to the rating voltage, high power factor operation,control effect is good, stable performance.
