Collapse generally refers to a sudden and sharp dynamic geological phenomenon occurred in the steep slope, namely in the steep terrain, complex geological conditions of slope, the rock or soil under gravity and other external force, suddenly out of the parent rock and sharply down caving. Collapse, landslide and debris flow are the three main types of geological hazards, the proportion of collapses in geological hazards is only next to the landslide. The number of collapse disasters in China is more than8000 times per year, and the direct economic loss is about 50 Billion yuan. Along with the development of reform and opening-up and the promotion of national economy, improving people’s living standards, tourism booming, and many scenic spots are built in the mountains, because the area is not properly developed, often will form a large number of artificial slope, and because of the high slope, large slope, complex geological conditions, prone to collapse. In case of rockfall, not only the destruction of public facilities, but also causing serious harm to the tourists in the past. This text is based on the geological hazard investigation and treatment of the collapse of Qinglong Gorge scenic spot in Huairou area, analysis and Research on the stability of high slope in the rear area of Qinglong Gorge scenic spot, based on the field investigation and data analysis.First, through the field survey and the results of the previous survey data, do analysis of the regional geological background of the scenic spot, Topography, geological structure, lithology, regional geology, hydrology, weather conditions and so all.Second, by stereographic projection to analyze the stability of dangerous rock. From the stereographic projection obtained that the slope rock joint surface is not conducive to the stability of the slope, easily lead to collapse. And then through the limit equilibrium method in quantitative analysis and discrete element method for quantitative reduction coefficient to analyze the stability of dangerous rock. The calculation results show that under natural conditions, the rock is in a stable state;under the condition of rainstorm, soften by surface structure, rock full water density increases factors lead to the safety factor of the rock decreases, rock in unstable state;when calculating the earthquake condition, the safety factor is less than 1, numerical simulation of the 3DEC model from the bottom of the input sine wave to simulate the seismic conditions, the simulation results of the slope instability, the results show that under the earthquake, the rock is in an unstable state. Finally, the iterative calculation of the trajectory of a typical high rock selected by Rocfall software. Such as high number of trials for 100 times, rockfall trajectory, the horizontal position of the rockfall, bounce height and falling energy parameters is obtained by calculation.
