As an important foundation form, the strength composite pile has many advantages, such as a high bearing capacity, a small settlement, and the low cost of construction. Based on the project of Yuzhou Properties at Yuhuatai in Nanjing, this paper analyzed the bearing capacity and the load transfer law of strength composite pile with equal core through the formulas in morms, the static load test, and the finite element simulation.Firstly, the design value of vertical compressive bearing capacity was calculated according to corresponding norms. Then, the curves of load settlement under the vertical load were given through the static load test.At last, the finite element simulation was performed and gave the distributive relation of pile tip resistance and the side frictional resistance, and the transfer law of the load among the core pile, the cement soil, and the surrounding soil layer. The above analysis showed that the test value of vertical bearing capacity agrees with the one of the finite element value. The design value of vertical bearing capacity is smaller than the test value. When the pile is not damaged, the side frictional resistance and tip resistance bear the 90% and 10% of the vertical load. While the axial force of cement soil increases, the one of the core pile decreases along the soil depth. The strength composite pile has the higher vertical bearing capacity and the lower cost of construction than the cast-in-place pile under the same geological conditions.
