Rapid prototyping technology is a hot research topic in the field of manufacturing technology in recent years, it is a new manufacturing method, increasing material for product design and manufacture of new trend. For typical processes of rapid prototyping technology of melt, it need to choose the reasonable supporting technology according to the structure characteristics of the parts (including supporting process parameters and production support structure), in order to prevent the parts with a suspension structures such as edge or surface edge or appeared in the process of machining defects such as surface collapse, causing parts failure. Therefore, rational selection of support parameters and reasonable production support structure is the key technology of melting fast molding process.Compared with the single nozzle rapid prototyping machines, support material and parts are consistent, support and parts have very good surface adhesion, support on the surface of the parts is very difficult to remove which increases the difficulty of post-processing. Therefore, the design of the support process is one of the important reasons of affecting surface quality of forming parts..Against the disadvantages of single nozzle melt extrusion type rapid prototyping machines, using HTS-300 plus single nozzle melt extrusion type quick molding machine as an example, this article is mainly focusing on the following two aspects:(1) We performed a through analysis on the support technological parameters affecting the quality of workpiece surface. Using HTS layered software to analyze the the influence support parameter has on its surface quality, and according to the analysis results, recommend a set of reasonable process parameters.(2) Detailed analysis of the relationship between forming direction and support structure, and the impact on surface quality of parts. Four kinds of typical parts model was established by applying the Solidworks software, using Solidworks Simulation plug-in or stress field Simulation analysis using HTS layered software is analyzed to find out the reason, and by changing the support method to solve or alleviate the corresponding problems, summarizes the typical parts support production process structures general principle. |
