As one of the clean renewable energy, wave energy is known as its rich reserves, wide distribution, large energy flow density, etc. The development and utilization of wave energy is one of research hotspots and difficulties. Buoy-r ope-drum wave power device has simple structure and it is easy to launch and effective.Based on the working principle of the Buoy-rope-drum wave power device, t he structure of Buoy-rope-drum wave energy collecting device is designed and ve rified. Theoretical analysis and simulation verification are conducted on the factor of cable deflection which affects collecting efficiency of the device during the s ea test. It provides reference and basis for the further improvement designing and t he second sea test.The research content is as follows:(1)The characteristics of different wave theory and their application scope are stated. Airy wave is chosen as the wave theory foundation of this paper.(2)Force analysis is conducted according to the working principle of the B uoy-rope-drum wave power device in the process of buoy rising. Energy acquisi tion mechanics model is established and the expression of generating efficiency is given in heave direction.(3)Based on the sea condition of the test area, the installed capacity, and e xpected power generation, the structure of Buoy, the drum and the collecting ro pe mechanism are designed. The strength and the stiffness of the buoy are veri fied by ANSYS.(4)Launching program of the sea test is determined. The reliability and effi ciency of wave energy collecting device is analyzed. Analyzing current impact on the deformation of the cable can get the current speed influence on the gen eration efficiency.
