From the Angle of biology preliminary explore the causes of accident proneness and mechanism, for screening the pilot in the future and provide a scientific basis for reducing the occurrence of traffic accidents. Methods According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, a case-control study which included 139 cases and 127 controls for selecting proneness drivers from 2014 in Guangxi, was assessed by using personality questionnaire.5-HT and 5-HTP (case group 89 cases, control group 77 cases)were investigated by the HPLC technique and BDNF(case group and control group both 50 cases) was assayed by ELISA. EpiData3.1 and SPSS 16.0 software were used to establish database. Statistical analysis was performed to use t test, chi square test, Pearson correlation and Non-conditional Logistic regression model analysis respectively. Results (1) Serum levels of 5-HT and 5-HTP (125.45±66.41 and 225.06±55.54) were significantly lower in the case group than the control group (146.29±62.33 and 249.33±58.16) (P<0.05) while no difference between the 5-HT group and the 5-HTP group.(2) 5-HTP and 5-HT were positively correlated trends (correlation coefficient= 0.784, P< 0.05); Cases in the group 5-HTP and 5-HT were positively correlated trends (correlation coefficient= 0.743, P< 0.05); In the control group 5-HTP and 5-HT were positively correlated trends (correlation coefficient= 0.813, P< 0.05).(3)Driving age<10 years in the case group, whose concentration of 5-HT and 5-HTP(123.13±48.38 and 219.65±45.98) were lower than the control group (154.01±66.56 and 254.00±46.85) (P<0.05).(4)Serum 5-HTP levels (212.61±37.51) of the case group was lower than the control group (246.37±44.39) (P<0.05) in ethnic Han drivers; Serum 5-HTP levels (113.14±54.13) of the ethnic minorities drivers in the case group was lower than the control group (156.53±60.68) (P<0.05); Among the case, the 5-HTP of the ethnic Han drivers (212.61±37.51) was lower than the ethnic minorities drivers (241.98±70.83) (P<0.05).(5)The Non-conditional logistic regression analysis showed that 5-HT, 5-HTP and the exercise frequency related to the accident proneness, were the protective factors.(6)The serum concentration of BDNF (3.18±2.19) in patients was significantly higher than the control group (2.23±1.43) (P<0.05);The BDNF levels of the drivers with driving age<10 years in exposure group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05);Serum BDNF levels of the drivers with primary school and junior middle school education in exposure group was significantly higher than those in control group (P<0.05);The serum BDNF levels of other ethnic population in the case group was higher than the control group (P<0.05).(7) The Non-conditional logistic regression analysis showed that the exercise frequency and the sleeping time related to the accident proneness, were the protective factors. Conclusion The driver accident tendentiousness has relation to the serum levels of 5-HT,5-HTP and BDNF in the accident tendentiousness drivers.5-HTP and 5-HT were positively correlated trends, and 5-HT/5-HTP ratio was no significant difference, prompt the body serum 5-HTP and the change of the concentration ratio of the 5-HT. The concentration of 5-HT,5-HTP, exercise frequency and the sleeping time may be the protective factors of the accident proneness. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | accident proneness, 5-hydroxytrptamine, 5-hydroxytryptophan, brain-derived neurotrophic factor, High performance liquid chromatography, enzyme linked immunosorbent assay | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
