| The development of information technology has changed home life. Smart home technology emerged as the trend at the right time. It has significantly comforted people’s life, and it is valued by lots of large software and hardware companies owing to its huge commercial values. They have invested heavily to create their own smart home platforms including Apple’s Homekit, Samsung’s SmartHome and Google’s Brillo. Google has also purchased smart home enterprises to build its own smart home platform. Each of them has their own advantages, and the monopoly of the three platforms cannot be easily broken for a short period of time.However, these relatively mature smart home technology platforms have great limitations. They are not compatible with each other because they are designed in accordance with their own closed mobile operating system, which has generated lots of disadvantages.In order to solve the incompatibility issue of the smart home platforms, mobile internet companies have also entered the smart home market based on their huge amount of users. For instance, Tencent puts forward the idea of "Wechat hardware platform", Jingdong and Ali have also stepped in. These solutions are on the application level and trans-platform plans.The trans-platform plans of applications, to some extent, have improved the compatibility level and decreased the cost for users to change platforms. However, no platforms dominates the market, for the closure problem has not been completely solved yet.In order to break app-based trans-platform smart home plans’limitations, this paper put forward a new solving plan. The plan chooses instant communication software as development base. As a revolutionary software, instant communication once has reformed spreading channel of information and the ways of communication. With the coming and prosperity of the mobile internet, instant messenger has embraced tremendous growth. A survey of instant message markets of America, India and China shows that the number of monthly downloads and active users ranks top in all the three markets. But, the main instant message app of each country is different because of culture diversity. Therefore, there is much more uncertainty about the domestic instant message market, which requires the system in this paper compatible with a variety of software..The plan in this thesis is based on application framework of android system to monitor information received by instant message apps, simulate the clicking operation of users, monitor sensors, and control operation of household appliances to achieve smart control result.Users can choose any instant message apps according to their needs and are free from limitation of operating systems. This offers users much more freedom when making decisions and improves their using experience. After verification and tests, the plan is proved to be practical and feasible. |
