Automotive Windshield Defrosting technology, which aims to create a good vision, improve the safety performance of vehicles. Most windshield uses electric heating defrosting,Traditional electric heating defrosting system design in domestic enterprises mainly rely on experience, repeated testing and modification, spend a lot of manpower and material resources. In this paper, by combining method of experiment and simulation,do studies on the electrical heating glass defrosting effect simulation and optimization,mainly do the following several aspects.First, design a set of parameters of heat transfer reverse experiment, test the glass temperature, provides a reliable comparative data for the simulation. It proposed a simplified model of heat transfer glass, through repeated adjustment of heat transfer parameters, obtained the consistent with the experimental results of the simulation results. Got the most close to the actual situation of heat transfer parameters, it has laid a solid foundation for accurate simulation of rear defrost system.Then design and conduct experiments of heating defrosting effect, test the temperature of glass. Based on the electrical theory knowledge, to simplify the heating resistance wire part, calculated the current, voltage and power of resistance wire with MATLAB, provide the basis for the simulation model validation. And design other experiments to research on the effects of temperature on resistivity.Based on Marc do the electrical heating defrosting effect simulation, obtained the temperature contour band and node temperature curve, and draw a sample glass defrosting capacity.Finally, Reduces the total resistance, equalize the resistance wire per unit length power, Optimize the defrosting effect of glass after the simulation, Completely solve the shortage of glass defrosting capacity issues, reasonable design results are obtained..Test and simulation methods developed in this study has certain reference significance for the optimization and design of electrically heated rear windscreen defrosting system, and can be used for reference to the engineering practice.
