Guizhou Province is located on the plateau area where is wet. Due to the demand of economy and transportation development, the road construction gets a rapid growth in recent years. In order to improve the pavement performance, prolong the service life of bridge deck and reduce the maintenance frequency and costs in the later period, this paper conducted a series of research.As the key node of the road in Guizhou Province, there was a series problems of bridge deck, such as the harsh using conditions and complexity stress of bridge deck pavement, which require higher technology of the bridge deck pavement. Based on the investigation of the diseases, the paper adopted the lab tests and the field project to research the quality control index and acceptance standard of waterproof bonding layer, and focused on the performance of the new type of water epoxy asphalt waterproof bonding layer technology. It is compared with the conventional type of waterproof adhesive layer in pavement performance, construction technology and so on.Combined with the Guizhou Dasi highway bridge deck pavement test section, the construction technology of waterborne epoxy waterproof adhesive layer was studied and summarized, for the application and implementation later.According to the research, conclusions were as follows:1. Guizhou province bridge deck pavement diseases were affected by many factors. Among these factors, the quality of the bridge deck waterproofing adhesive layer was a key factor affecting the quality of bridge deck pavement.2. Based on the studies of bridge processing technology and parameters, sand blasting process was an effective process. Under the condition of standard construction, the process can improve the bridge deck based on the research of the bridge panel process and parameters. Suitable parameters of sand blasting process were put forward.3. This paper researched on this new type of waterborne epoxy waterproof adhesive layer and engineering application. It showed that the performance of waterborne epoxy waterproof adhesive layer is excellent. It can be used for bridge deck pavement engineering application and helpful to enhance pavement performance of bridge deck.
