With the quickening pace of modernization,the planning of city is beginning to pay more attention to waterfront gradually.the key point of design the urban waterfront’s landscape is to construct room which fuses the ecology,landscape and recreation.Due to the particularity of its own conditions of small towns,the importance of urban waterfront landscape planning to the town is self-evident,but at the present,both at home and abroad, the design of waterfront landscape to small towns planning is very few.so it is great necessary to research of how to build high quality waterfront landscape of small towns.Base is located in Chi Feng Hexigten to the town.on the east coast of Biliuhe,from Jingpeng street to Huanggangliang street.The land area is 21.4 hm2.Hexigten is a famous tourists town in Inner Mongolia.In this text,on the basis of researching successful projects at home and abroad,it plans and designs the hexigten waterfront landscape,with adjust measures to local conditions with combination of the local climate,topography,cultural uniqueness.According to the different themes.the design divided the whole garden river into three parts.from north to south,regarding time as the main line.it was followed by history accumulation area.modern living quarters and take-off renaissance zone.from north to south.Set up the various attractions through the themes and characteristics of each zone to.The project topic is "Accumulation-Ascendas".When the design.following the main principle is ecological,regional characteristic.integrity and hydrophilic.When making the processing of waterfront space,the use of the wetland landscape to restore the river ecological water system,at the same time for the original landscape on both sides of the river for the appropriate retention,reduce man-made interference;In setting up various nodes,closely related to the tourism of ethnic and local culture to highlight the characteristics of tourist small towns;River waterfront landscape zone of each scenic spots by connecting together.each scenic spot points theme in to express the common theme.History accumulation area is primarily about long history and rich and varied cultural torism.The item of modern living quarters is flourshing modern civilization, take off of renascent zone embodys the ideas of the future.On the express of integrity,the use of the sketch and garden architecture on style and material are consistent,both use of wood and stone to performance,the whole design style reflects the rough original ecosystem, but also show the honest local folk culture.The hydrophilia is reflected by various water affinity facilities and water channels.
