Currently, cycle charge discharge lithium ion battery is commonly used in power systems. Lithium ion battery has the advantages of higher energy density, simple structure, installation and replacement is convenient which owns the technology and structural characteristics. Nowadays, more and more pure electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicle power supply equipment choose it as power systems. During the charging and discharging process, a number of different kinds of chemical reaction, electrochemical reaction and mass transfer occurred simultaneously, and the safety and stability of the lithium ion battery were studied.On the base of grasping the basic theory and application of software platform, according to previous related experimental data were simulation calculation, the circulation type lithium ion battery charging and discharging detailed electrochemical study, the CFD simulation method of cycle type lithium ion battery charging and discharging process of voltage characteristic, the trend of electrolyte concentration, distribution of current density and the particle diffusion law were carried out simulation of one-dimensional and two-dimensional electrochemical, of lithium ion battery anode material selection and related power with battery product improvement to provide theoretical guidance. The main research work of this paper is shown as follows:(1)According to related experimental and theoretical research results, using one-dimensional Newman model of circulating charge discharge lithium ion battery voltage characteristics, loss of the pressure drop and current density distribution were calculated and the actual application process of electrochemical properties of the lithium battery;(2)The CFD electrochemical quadratic program for recycling charge and discharge lithium ion battery of the two-dimensional simulation, further draw the trends in the diffusion of anode and cathode materials, particle concentration change law, lithium ion battery anode material selection and related power battery products improvement to provide theoretical guidance.(3)Using the data coupling method to combine the electrochemical model and the thermal model, the results of the temperature distribution of the lithium battery and the diffusion of the electrolyte concentration are obtained. Further deepen the understanding of the cause and process of the lithium ion battery heat production and heat dissipation, to provide a reference for the safety of lithium-ion batteries.
