Shift schedule is a key technology in automatic mechanical transmission(AMT) and its quality will directly affect the performance of vehicle transmission system. Carrying out a research into the AMT shift schedule and mastering the core technology of AMT intelligent control has the great significance to promote the development of automatic transmission and industrialization.The thesis analyses the AMT shift process and factors influencing the shift schedule and a comparison is made not only among one-parameter, two-parameters and three-parameters of shift schedule but also between graphic al method and analytical method for how to design the shift schedule. Depending on automobile driving equation and the engine torque characteristics, the article has made a research on dynamic performance shift law and work ed out the law by three-parameters’ analytical method. Depending on automobile fue l consumption equation and the engine load characteristics, the article has also made a research on economic performance shift law and worked out the law by three-parameters’ analytical method. After analyzing the driving style of different driver s’ behavior, the throttle and its change rate are used as input variables and coefficient of driving style as output variable to establish the fuzzy shift controller and the article has come up with a driving style- adapted shift schedule based on fuzzy algorithm.In order to analyze the whole AMT system, a simulation model, which contains with engine model, transmission model, shift logical model, shift controller model, vehicle dynamical model and fuel consumption model, is set up on the basis of the tool Matlab/Simulink. First, the article uses 40% and 100% throttle as input parameters to operate the simulation model of dynamic and economic shift law. The result of simulation indicates the validity of dynamic and economic shift law. Then, under this premise of correct dynamic and economic shift law, another simulation is taken in which 100% throttle and ±6 change rate of throttle is set for input parameters, which verifies the fuzzy adaptive shift schedule based on driving style, which can adapt to different driving styles and improve driving experience.Finally, the article carries out the design of tool chain for the development of AMT system. The double MCUs transmission controller is designed with the mast er MCU of NXP chip MC9S12XET256. Taking μC/OS-II for the embedded real time operating system, the design of controller software is completed, and a computer software for debugging and calibration of transmission controller is also design ed on the basis of CCP protocol. The functional verification of the AMT system is completed by the experimental test. It will provide important guarantee for accelerating research and product development of AMT through building the whole tool chain for the development of AMT system.
