Planetary gear train as a drive mechanism with high efficiency, small size, light weight and many other advantages, has been widely used in helicopter gearbox, wind power growth container, construction machinery and other machinery equipment. Because it often works in the harsh environments of sand, moisture, and other low-speed heavy-duty, which often leads to the failure of tooth root fracture, fatigue crack, pitting damage in an important part of planetary gear train. This will cause heavy losses. Thus, the study of damage dynamics model for planetary gear train gear will play an effective guiding role in prediction and diagnosis on the planetary gearbox failure.In this paper, the dynamics model of damaged planetary gear train will be studied and analyzed. With the beginning of the structural characteristics of planetary gear train, the study of dynamics model was analyzed in domestic and foreign countries, then establish reverse kinetic model of the typical 2K-H planetary gear train considering time-varying meshing stiffness, nonlinear factors, backlash, using the method of lumped mass. Through analyzing the impact of the dynamic model with the system parameters, the stiffness was taken as a starting point to study the dynamics model of damaged planetary gear train. Next, the paper by using energy method to calculate the gear mesh stiffness, combined with the typical characteristics of damaged gear, focusing on the impact of the gear tooth root cracks, missing tooth and pitting damage on the varying Stiffness, in order to obtain the model of gear mesh stiffness. Finally the kinetic model of gear train with injury was built, and then it was solved and simulated by MATLAB software. With the analysis of the signal characteristics, I get the signal characteristics with different injury.
