With the developing progress of the society, the electricity power grid has been expanding. The complexity of the grid’s electricity load property is affected by natural environment, quality of the equipment, human factors and other factors. This makes the voltage fluctuation inevitable in the electricity power grid. However, the High-tech industry, large chemical and metallurgical enterprises requires extremely high load of electricity power quality, which means if the voltage occurs sharp fluctuation or drop, it may be an electricity load outage. That will interrupt the whole production process and costs huge lost to the enterprises. So this requires a higher standard of reliability of the power supply offered by the electricity power grid. This article is based on the purpose of offering reliability of electricity power grid supply and resolving the problem of sensitive load outage caused by the voltage sag. And based on the research of the power switching device using rapid switch, this paper provides a set of anti-voltage sag switching plans to ensure the sensitive load operating without disturbances.This paper analyzed how it will affect various units in the electricity gird when the interference electricity occurs and provided a new type of anti-voltage sag power switching device. The paper also compared the intrinsic power switching modes and provided a new power switching mode which can minimize the switching load and the minimized requirement of the back up power supply capacity. Meantime, it can also guarantee the well-function of sensitive load. The paper researched a new algorithm of rapid detection of short circuit. Besides, the research did modeling and simulation based on the 10 KV electricity distribution network and analyzed what would happen to other branches when one of the electricity distribution network branch out of work. Meanwhile, the research simulated the voltage waveform before and after the power switching. At the end, the research made the realization of anti-voltage sag device through both hardware and software platform and laid the foundation of next step actual application.
