| Some new and advanced template scaffold has been developing rapidly since 10 new industry technologies industry was construction in 2010, they embodie the safety, high efficiency, energy saving, environmental protection, economy, has received the satisfied technical and economic benefits. In recent years, a series of policies and regulations has been issued to encourage saving material and wood, independent support scaffolds are accordance with it. Although independent supporting scaffold has been used as early as 30 years ago by a few unit, its safety is not exactly corresponding national standards or industry standards, thus, they are not allowed to be used in some engineering practise. The mechanical performance of steel independent support scaffolds was studied by experimental research, theoretical analysis and the finite element model simulation, the basic unit stress mechanism and the stability performance of the steel independent support scaffold was decided. The research results can provide theoretical support for independent steel support scaffolding safety studies, and supply theoretical basis for developing new scaffolding that suitable for national situation.Aim at the stability performance of the steel independent support scaffold, a series of results and main conslusions were obtained as following by using basic experimental study combining theory analysis and finite element model simulation.(1) I assumed the calculation model of independent steel pipe scaffold, and reference to the actual status of the corresponding to improve the model, and deduce the hinge withvariable height in Shanley model calculation formula of the initial bending.(2) Through different operating mode of the independent steel support scaffolds compression stability test, we can get those conclusions:With the increase of upper bound and the height reduce of the specimens, the compressive bearing increased significantly;the failure mode is the failure, weak spot for internal and external pipe node. By analyzing the failure load of theory and test, When the specimen height is 3500mm and the length of outside the inner tube into the tube l≤200mm, Shanley model calculation formula of the initial bending is feasible.But when the specimen height is 2770mm and the length of outside the inner tube into the tube l≥930mm, we can use the elastic buckling theory of axial compressive bar. When the length of outside the inner tube into the tube is 200<l<930mm, in order to leave certain safety reserves, we can use Shanley model calculation formula.(3) Using the model established effectively by finite element software ABAQUS to independent steel support scaffold, using the method of entity modeling, define the characteristics of scaffolding, according to the related information simulate independent steel support scaffolds basic mechanical unit cell under three different conditions of loading stability. The results from finite element simulation compare with the load deflection curve of the test results, will draw the curve of the result with the test results of finite element simulation of the curve in the elastic phase alignment is almost consistent trend curve.
