Crankshaft bearings is one of the main parts of an internal combustion engine, whose lubrication conditions have a major impact on the reliability and durability of the internal combustion engine. Currently, the considerable progress has been made in the study of crankshaft bearing lubrication, but the circumferential movement and radial movement have generally just been considered in the calculation of model, while the axial movement of the crankshaft is always existing in actual work. Therefore, it has some practical significance to study the impact of crankshaft axial movement on the lubrication performance of crankshaft bearing.In the thesis, the crankshaft bearing load under different working conditions is calculated, and the lubrication performance of crankshaft bearing is analyzed when the crankshaft deformation is considered or not, the impact of crankshaft axial movement on the lubrication performance of crankshaft bearing is studied based on a four cylinder diesel engine.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1. Calculation and analysis of crankshaft bearing load and crankshaft deformationDynamic calculation method and whole crankshaft solid element FEM are adopted to calculate crankshaft bearing load, and the accuracy of those two calculation are compared, the change regulation of crankshaft bearing load under different working conditions is analyzed. The data of crankshaft deformation are obtained according to the results of FEM, and the change regulation of journal inclination angle under different working conditions is analyzed.2. Lubrication analysis of crankshaft bearing considering the deformation of the crankshaft.Lubrication characteristics of crankshaft bearing is calculated when the crankshaft deformation under different working conditions is considered or not, and the comparison of two calculating results are made.3. Lubrication analysis of crankshaft bearing considering the axial movement of the crankshaft. The lubrication performance of crankshaft bearing is analyzed when axial movement of the crankshaft is considered, which is compared with the performance that axial movement of the crankshaft is unconsidered.
