Abstract/Summary:
Wind power is the new field of energy most promising, one of the most widely used power generation. But wind energy is a natural energy, with intermittent and volatility, after the wind power system will bring a lot of adverse effects of voltage, frequency and stability of the power system can not meet the needs of stable power supply, and by the energy storage technology the introduction of wind power generation systems, energy storage systems fast throughput regulating wind turbine power output of wind power grid fluctuations can be limited within the allowable range, a good solution to the problem of large-scale wind power.Therefore, on the basis of domestic and foreign research on the theory and applications for wind farms battery energy storage system to carry out the following studies:From the accumulator battery itself, different types of batteries in the technical, economic,and security features have focused on the practical application of the battery of choice is worth studying. This article applies to a variety of wind energy storage batteries for detailed comparative analysis, it discusses the vanadium redox flow battery is the most suitable for wind power energy storage batteries. The establishment of a vanadium redox flow battery and electrical model on Matlab / simulink platform to build a simulation model, a simulation of the charge and discharge process to verify the accuracy and applicability of the established model of vanadium battery for wind power generation.Battery energy storage capacity options related to the output capacity and network size and reasonable investment issues, this paper calculated theoretical derivation and examples presented in accordance with the choice of battery capacity. In this paper, considering the investment cost of the battery energy storage system and full economic life cycle in order to maximize net income for the full life cycle of the target, considering the constraints of normal operation of the energy storage system capacity optimization model is established, and use particle swarm algorithm for finding the optimal capacity of the model. An example is given to verify the validity of the model built optimization and feasibility.Battery energy storage and energy conversion system is the core part of the battery energy storage system. Therefore, this paper established two evaluation indexes battery energy storage system operating conditions, according to the instruction output remaining battery power and energy storage system, a fuzzy adaptive control method for active output reference value of the energy storage system is corrected, real-time control of the energy storage battery and energy storage SOC effortless. Through numerical example it shows that the fuzzy control strategy, SOC is effectively controlled and maintained at a reasonable level, extend the life of the energy storage system. Energy storage systems realized while maintaining a reasonable level of SOC premise of continuous and effective smoothing wind power fluctuations.
