Energy dissipation technology as a new seismic technology, with the promotion of energy dissipation damping technology, its simple, efficient and reliable design method will promote the development of energy dissipation technology. Therefore,buckling-restrained brace(BRB) as energy dissipation component of energy dissipation damping design, this paper puts forward a set of seismic design method for buckling-restrained brace frame structure system.The first two chapters of this paper mainly elaborate the application and development situation of buckling-restrained brace,the current design methods,and summarize the structure and the working principle,mainly contain its working principle, stable performance, the related design parameters, bearing capacity and the design of the nodes.This paper puts forward a design method which is based on the additional elastic stiffness requirements of buckling-restrained brace damping structure to dissipative buckling-restrained brace.Its design idea is,according to our the standard response spectrum,using the single degree of freedom system for derivation of formula,to calculate required additional stiffness under the basis of the target deformation, and quickly select the quantities and types of BRB,then the structure of the suspension design,this method can reduce the trial work.This article will be a five layers frame structure as an example to calculation and analysis the structure using the above method,and expound the application of this method in practical engineering, and suggest that the weak floors could be appropriately increase the sectional areas or numbers of BRB, in order to improve the structure of the safety stockFurthermore,this paper puts forward another design method which is based on the additional equivalent stiffness and additional damping ratio of buckling restrained brace damping structure to damper type buckling restrained brace. Its design idea is: according to our the standard response spectrum,using the single degree of freedom system for derivation of formula, to map the correlation curve of the necessary additional equivalent stiffness and additional damping ratio when the structure reaches the different target deformations.When using this method to the engineering practice,under the determining the target displacement,we can quickly select the required types and amounts of BRB with the above curves,and reduce the workload of the trial and times,greatly reduce the workload of design engineer.A seven layer reinforced concrete frame structure is adopted to as an example,under the given target displacement, used the above method to choice support types and amounts,after reviewing this method can significantly reduce the computing workload,and though using this method to get the action of seismic performance under frequent earthquake and the performance, energy distribution and dissipation under severe earthquake.Finally,the work of this paper is briefly summarized,and receives the corresponding conclusions,combined with the research and application of engineering, put forward the deficiency and the need to solve the problem about the buckling restrained braced frame structure design method.
