With the rapid economic growth and the vigorous development of the industrialization process, China has gradually become the supreme energy consumption nation in the world. But the power requirement is uneven distribution, and the contradiction between environmental protection and economic development is becoming more and more severely, the type of traditional high energy consumption will eventually be replaced. Especially in the island and remote rural areas which get electric power from large-scale thermal plants and long-distance transmission grid, frequently result in high cost and serious pollution and many other issues which are need to be solved urgently.This paper present a kind of power generation mode that integrated by Wind-Solar –Diesel-Battery Hybrid Power Generation in the isolated island.According to the resource distribution and power supply requirements on the Dong’ao Island in Zhuhai city, the optimal capacity and the control strategy are established.The main work of this paper are as follows:(1) A simple mathematical model of wind and solar power generation and the simple calculation model of storage battery and diesel generator was established, the wind and light resource distribution of the project implementation area was evaluated, the data of wind speed and light radiation which provided the basis for the optimal capacity of the hybrid power generation system was obtained.(2)This paper proposed an improved individual optimization algorithm of chaos and asexual propagation algorithm(CARO) by optimized the hybrid power system that target at the cost of system period and constraint by the power balance and under the load tracking energy operation scheme, and obtained the reasonable capacity optimal allocation results by applied the algorithm in MATLAB simulation.(3)According to the principles and objectives of hybrid power system control strategy, this method controlled the energy flow by treat the quantity of switch control as the research object and the balance of power as a criterion. Firstly, generally, making the priority of wind, solar, storage and diesel start and stop clockwise and anticlockwise order to control the allocation of system’s multi energy source, and then the synthetical control strategy of each subsystem is obtained under the typical operating conditions. Then, according to the actual condition, making the each operation control strategy of wind and solar system to ensure its operation in the best condition, and realize safety and economical operation of the system. Finally verified the rationality of the synthetical control strategy by the simulation.
