Recently,the depletion of fuel energy and the problem of environment are more and more serious,and the distributed generation system has many advantages:flexible,reliable,economic and environmental,so the micro grid system based on renewable energy is developing more and more attention not only in scientific research but engineering field.It is the sizing of micro grid system that is the key for improving the power supply reliability and reducing the annual system cost.And heuristic algorithms have parallelism and efficiency in larger scale optimization problem of complex systems.In this paper,a kind of improved ant colony optimization was utilized for the sizing of a stand-alone hybrid power system based on photovoltaic,wind turbine,battery storage and hydrogen storage.The optimal numbers of all kind of electrical devices are required to be got in this hybrid system under the given constraint conditions and the specific environment.The main content contains the following three aspects:(1)A stand-alone hybrid photovoltaic/wind turbine/battery/hydrogen system(a hybrid system based on battery and hydrogen)is built.The models of the electrical devices in this hybrid system are introduced.And three kinds of cost are given respectively including device cost,energy waste cost and hydrogen profit,comprising the objective of sizing problem.Independent variable constraint and reliability constraint,combining above objective,play important roles in the sizing problem.(2)The charging/discharging method of battery and operating strategy of the hybrid system are introduced.(3)A kind of improved ant colony optimization,based on real-number encoding and sorting mechanism,is introduced,which is more efficient than basic ant colony optimization.This is the algorithm of the sizing problem of hybrid system.There are three innovation points in this work:(1)The system cost consisting of device cost,energy waste cost and hydrogen profit has been considered more comprehensively.(2)A new classification charging/discharging method is applied to the sizing problem.(3)A kind of improved ant colony optimization is introduced.These three innovations play a positive role in the sizing of the hybrid power generation system and improve the integrated environment of equipment model.And the reliability of the system operation is enhanced because of the charging and discharging strategy.The efficiency,accuracy and reliability of the calculation results are guaranteed by the fast multi-dimension digital space optimal solution.
