Empirical Research Of Urban Complex Illustrated By The Case Of Intime City

This study is a commercial complex in three steps:planning, design, and evaluation. Currently, commercial complex project is just one direction with no feedback, and few POE(Post Occupancy of Environment) is held to measure the buildings after they starting to work. The writer hopes to connect planning, architectural design and POE to be one circle, forming a feedback loop mechanisms. So the whole project system can be optimized in the future.POE will be able to analyses three major characteristics of the commercial complex:Economy:such as consumer preferences, the project’s cost-benefit analysis;Science:architectural features, the quality of materials, the condition of the equipment performance;Social:built environment behavior, feeling, psychology, culture, administration, regulatory, and so on.Because I want to be able to concentrate on research, this article is just about a case study of one commercial complex. So I can explore the feedback mechanisms among planning, design and POE.
