Electric information acquisition system (EIAS), the basis of the smart grid to realize informatization, interaction and automation,proivdes data support for smart usage of electricity.The Qingshanhu High-tech Area has more than 400 designed variable users,300 common users and 23,000 low voltage users. It is of great significance for implementing full coverage and total collection of their usage information.First, this article gethered the demanding information of EIAS, which includes analysing the respondents, usage data type and usage cases.Second, some overall design of EIAS based on the information was talked about, such as the design of physical structure of the system, the master station, system interface and the database. For interface design, interface between EIAS and the "SG186" marketing business application system is mainly talked. The real-time data interface uses the Web-Service communication mode, while non-real time data interface usually uses middle database and data center. For the design of master station, it includes the function module and software architecture. For database design focused on the data types and the security, MySQL database is used in this article.Then, this article researched on the key technology of electric communication network, which mainly includes the local channel technology, remote channel technology and communication network. After that, the schemes of networking, fiber to-the-home and the acquisition terminal selection were designed according to the usage and demanding information of Qingshanhu High-tech Area.Finally, the master station was debugged, solutions to the problems during constrution were discused, and the running state was shown. They basically provided the evidence that, the total collection and reliable transmission of the electricity usage data at Qingshanhu High-tech Area was feasible.
