Clutch is an important part of vehicle transmission system, and slotted disc-spring is an important pressure component in disc-spring clutch, which plays a good and transitional role in friction pair and separation of institution. Due to disc-spring’s good nonlinear characteristics of material and force, it can realize separate thoroughly and integrate smoothly in the process of transmission, directly affects the performance of automobile clutch。So, its design becomes more and more important, whose quality directly affects the clutch matches the vehicle. Slotted disc spring is commonly used in heavy machinery, and driving it working costs very strongly, commonly used in engineering hydraulic pressure as driving devices.In this paper, we study the slotted disc-spring load-deformation curve, through contrasting A-L formula with finite element analysis, verify the finite element analysis is also a reliable method research of studying disc-spring, based on ANSYS/LS-DYNA, simulating motion and analyzing life of slotted disc-spring. First, this article builds 3-D model according to slotted disc-spring of a company produced, and divides hexahedral grid in HyperMesh software. With the help of ANSYS/LS-DYNA software, achieving implicit-explicit solution analysis under the circumstances of existing pre-loading, which proves dynamics analysis for the disc-spring will effectively reduce the internal stress in the case of presence of preloading; then studies the changes of arm ratio in a disc-spring load will produce elastic deformation phenomenon; Second, the following to carry out the slotted disc-spring fatigue life analysis, find out the disc-spring fatigue source, and analyzes its fatigue life in the ANSYS software, prove the disc-spring can meet the fatigue of engineering requirements; Finally, with the method of orthogonal analysis, optimizing structure parameters of disc-spring, so as to load slotted disc-spring steadily on the condition of overloading, and guarantee the performance of slotted disc-spring.
