Memristor is the fourth basic circuit component, and it is used to describe the relationship between the magnetic flux and charge. Memristor is a nonlinear circuit component with memory behavior. It can remember the quantities of electric charges that through itself. We can change the resistance by controlling the current value, and the memristor can keep the resistance after outage. This feature can make memristor be applicated in a more broad space for the research and application than other general circuit elements. The thesis make researches on the basic features of memristor, MLC series and parallel circuit, the chaotic circuit and the oscillation circuit based on memristor. The main contents are as follows:The basic features of charge-controlled and flux-controlled memristors with the mathematical model of cube nonlinear function and piecewise linear function are analyzed. The results show that, pinched hysteresis loops were observed for all memristors, and the parameters and input frequencies can influence the features. Then, the correlation properties of MLC series and parallel circuit are studied. The results show that, the value of capacitance and inductance can make the v-i relationship present different features. Chua’s circuit and Wien bridge oscillator circuit based on memristor are investigated. The results show that, changing parameters of correlative component at Chua’s circuit based on memristor can make the φ-v relationship present stable focus, single vortex chaos and double vortex chaos. Wien bridge oscillator circuit based on memristor undr different frequencies output different waveform accordingly.
