Based On The Theoretical Ideas Of Tcontext Chain Of Chongqing City Terminal Landscape Evolution Study

Chongqing is a developing city situated at the foot of a hill and beside a stream. Its urban context holds its unique urban memory. For a mountain city surrounded by two rivers, wharf has already become its culture symbol. As one of the cultural roots of C hongqing, the wharf displays the unique charm and value of Chongqing. As it turns out, the development of the Chongqing context is intimately involved with urban life. The wharf context in Chongqing is the inevitable product of the expansion of the urban context in the process of evolution. It covers forms of social activities under the influences of economy, technologies, culture, politics, and has been playing an important role in the development history of urban context chain, thus it has important significance for the continuation of the urban memory, continuity and the continuity of inheriting wharf context, and maintaining the context of civilization development.As an important production space, the wharf in the main urban area of Chongqing has always played its function with the development of times and presents its unique cultural landscape. The Chongqing wharf culture has become a classic culture symbol in the hearts of the Chongqing people and become an important historical building bearing the development process of Chongqing’s urban culture. But with the global trend of internationalization, all cities in China are facing the crisis of being stereotyped. The faster and faster pace of city make it is easy to overlook the continuation of the urban context. Similarly, to continue the context features of the wharf in Chongqing, the combination of inheritance of the classic culture and the adaption of the fast pace of urban development is a necessity, which has become a difficult problem in current urban development and construction.Based on literature review, field study, case study, the paper uses the genetic method to put forward to the theoretical model, "context section" and deduces the formation of context chain through this model. Seen from the perspective of context chain, the paper explores the evolution process of the wharf context, assume the theoretical model of the evolution of the wharf context(wharf evolution mechanism), and then put forward the main context genes under the model: place chain, event chain and object chain, which can provides certain references for the analysis of the historical process of the evolution of the urban wharf landscape in the main urban area of Chongqing. The paper then discusses how wharf evolution mechanism prompt theevolution of the wharf evolution and its important role in each section period of the evolution from the perspective of those three context chains including object chain, place chain and event chain.As a cultural representative with important historical, the Chongqing wharf has a positive significance for the heritage, protection, continuation and development of the urban culture of Chongqing. This article, based on the analysis of the historical background, influence factors, landscape presentation, cultural connotation of the evolution of the wharf in the urban area of Chongqing at different periods and in combination with the present status of urban wharf in Chongqing, put forward to the measures and strategies to make the wharf landscape adapt to urban rapid development and at the same time fully inherit its context from the perspective of the three context chains.
