With the increasing of the number of students, the expansion of the campus zone, the improving of living standards and the developing of the teaching facilities, the energy consumption increasing larger and larger. How to use new eco-equipment to build low carbon campus effectively is a problem for each college to face and solve.Meanwhile, with the rapid development of small and medium-sized school, the running cost is getting higher and higher, the funds also getting more short obviously. So the ways of keeping the investment low, and reducing the cost of running is a necessary premise for the quickly and steady development of colleges.Therefore the EPC management mode( The Engineering Procurement Construction,refers to that the company entrusted by the owner, in accordance with the contract of Engineering Construction project design, Procurement, Construction, commissioning and other process or several stages of contracting) need to introduced to colleges. By using the new type of air source heat pump basic on the EPC, not only provides the solution for saving energy and reducing consumption in colleges, but also provides solutions for colleges which can’t develop energy-saving technological research.This paper is based on the actual case studies which is the most earlier case of EPC mode be used in colleges, as well the classic case of the air source heat pump technology used in actual. Therefore EPC management mode has great significance in research.This paper mainly studies at the application of the air source heat pump basic on the EPC management mode in colleges. And aimed at finding out the ways to lower the investment and enlarge the effect of energy saving and consumption reducing. The first part of this article introduces the research background and purpose, the second part brings the necessity of the application of energy-saving system and why choose the EPC management mode and air source heat pump units in water supply system design. The third part puts forward the choice condition of heat pump working medium, and the technical problems during installation process need to be solved. The practical analysis of air source heat pump units will get through the economic and social benefits, and from the respects such as technical conditions,human resources and function realization. The fourth part summarizes the process of project implementation, and puts forward the project plan and technical requirement through the systematic analysis on project requirement in order to determine and select the related components and parameters to build energy saving systems. For the fifth part, conduct analysis on project daily operation energy consumption. And thinking and prospect for thefuture.The research method of this paper is mainly based on the actual case, through the selection of scheme, proving of feasibility, system design and implementation, supporting system construction, benefits embodied, etc. This paper provides a sample for colleges which will implement the air source heat pump basic on the EPC management mode.
