Polymer cement slurry(referred to as JJ slurry) is a kind of polymer modified cementitious waterproofing materials, that different from the traditional elastic polymer cement waterproof paint and rigid polymer cement waterproof mortar.This material occupies not only elongation, waterproof like as polymers, and also high strength and high resistance characteristics like as hydraulic materials.And more, it couples with high cost-effective and nontoxic, thus becomes widely used as a new waterproof materials in recent years. There are seldom relevant literature reported about JJ waterproof coating although some waterproof manufacturers have started the research.In this paper,the effect of the polymer emulsion system on the performance of JJ waterproof coating was investigated,and fiber reinforced waterproof coating was used to improve the cracking resistance.And finally the effect of the polymer cement waterproof material on the paste stability of tileswas explored.First of all, the effect of the glass transition temperature on the mechanical properties of waterproof coating was analyzed when the polymer cement ratio is 0.148.The effect of the glass transition temperature on the properties of waterproof coating such as compressive strength, bending strength is not obvious, but the compressive strength ratio is reduced and the flexibility is improved. The critical polymer/cement ratio range of the rigid and flexible mutation of waterproof coating is between 0.25 ~ 0.40. When the polymer/cement ratio increased, the paste flexibility is improved, and the compressive strength, flexural strength increase after decreases firstly. The blending system of styrene-acrylic emulsion and butyl-benzene latex has better comprehensive performance than that of single polymer system.The optimal blending proportion ofthe styrene-acrylic emulsion and the butyl-benzene is 1:4.Secondly, in order toimprove the crack resistance of the waterproof coatings led by the fluctuation of the substrates, the fiber reinforced was used in the waterproof coating, It found that the dynamic crack resistance of waterproof coating of the 3 mm acrylic fiber has obvious improvement, and the flexible polymer cement waterproof material internal corner cracking problem was also solved. The optimal dosage of acrylic fiber is of 0.4%.Thirdly, compared with the common polymer cement waterproof mortar, the fiber enhanced composite polymer cement waterproof coating has better roller coating construction, higher strength, better cracking resistance at low temperature(5 ℃) and the higher costeffective. All these advantages make this material adapt to a more wide used range.Finally, the effect of the polymer cement waterproof material on the paste stability of tilewas explored. By comparing the paste stability of tile ofthree kinds of waterproof coating as the JS waterproof coating, the JF waterproof mortar and fiber reinforced JJ waterproof coating, it found that the bonding mortar is the main factor influencing the ceramic tile adhesive strength.The fiber reinforced polymer waterproof coating is rougher, which improves 10% of ceramic tile adhesive strength.The effect of waterproof coating hydrophobility on the stability of stickup ceramic tile safety was also discussed.
