As the special mechanical and electrical equipment, the operation safety and reliability of elevators will directly impact the property and life of people. Traction machine is the power part of the elevator. The study of performance characteristics, status inspection and failure judgments, exclusion method of traction machine is very important.This work is part of the “Traction machine Hardware-in-the-Loop(HIL) integrated test system and fault diagnosis system development” project. As the loading of elevator traction machine is varied, it’s hard to use the traditional traction machine test system to integrated evaluate the drive characteristics. This project is to study and design the traction machine HIL integrated test system. In this system, the dynamic model built by HIL technology is used to simulate the real load of traction machine test. Finally, this project is to provide the test platform of traction machine and drive performance evaluation.This work is to design the traction machine Hardware-in-the-Loop(HIL) integrated test system, mainly to complete the type selection of traction machine simulation loading unit and the modeling of drive control system. The traction machine control system and elevator mechanical system are combined to be the whole model of elevator. The operating characteristics under different conditions are simulated and analyzed. The results show this modeling is effective. Firstly, the overall function and structure of the system are introduced and the mechanical structure is plotted. Then according to the existing traction machine parameters and test requirements, the types of major component are selected. Thirdly, the Simulink tool of MATLAB software is used to establish the model of permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) control system and the elevator mechanical system. This modeling is using the Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation(SVPWM) technology which bases on the vector control theory of PMSM. Finally, the speed and torque output curve under different conditions(full load, acceleration and deceleration, sudden load) are obtained by analyzing the simulation test of control model. The result shows that the output curve can better track the input control curve and the real-time output load of elevator operation is given. These approve the model design is effective. This result also approves that this model can be used in the drive system dynamic loading. This work will be useful for the real-time detection, fault analysis and prediction of elevator traction machine. This work also can support the elevator safety operation and maintenance of traction machine.
