In the pearl river basin, it is hard to control sand mining field, and the quantity and area of sand mining on the spot. Thus the present sand mining condition cannot meet the new situation, it is necessary to adopt new technology in the river channel sand mining management.We devised a new system with advanced Global Positioning System(GPS), sensor technology, General Packet Radio Service(GPRS), digital camera(DC), WEB technology,database technology, and Geographic Information System(GIS) technology. This system is easily operated and fully functional. It can meet the requirement of dynamic monitoring of sand mining ships and field control in river channel sand mining in Guangdong, facilitate daily business management, and provide information support for decision-makers. The system was based on GIS. It used the core technology of GIS and proceeded from the actual conditions.The process of system construction includes 7 parts, that is information collection subsystem, information receiving subsystem, basic data management(basic information),geographic information system(map), sand mining ships monitoring system(image monitoring), sand mining field control(field management), and system management.This system adopts B/S structure system and developed by VS2008.NET.The system can provide real-time information and display them with Flash. It also has functions of quick search, real-time monitoring, and data aggregation. Personnel can work online with this system. Thus, the system will provide convenience for river management and improve the management and efficiency of river channel sand mining a lot. |
