In recent years, energy dissipation structure damping research sparked widespread attention in academia. Four types of site conditions of shock absorption effect of energy dissipation research has become very necessary This paper introduced the properties and analysis model of Several kinds of commonly used dampers and the fluid viscous dampers under different site types with the damping effect is analyzed based on the characteristics of setting fluid viscous damper structure. This paper was based on the 28-story frame-core tube structure in Tangshan as engineering background. Utilizing ETABS software, the energy dissipation damper of the structure was study. The main work includes the following aspects:(1) This paper established the analysis model of concrete frame structure with 8layers by ETABS. It simulated the seismic design of the fluid viscous damper based on the damper link element in the software. Selection of three groups of seismic wave under the condition of four types of sites, the energy dissipation effect under the condition of four types of ground through the story displacement angle and layer shear structure that before and after control with the fluid viscous dampers were investigated. Confirm the energy dissipation effect of the fluid viscous damper through the hysteretic curve of the damper.(2) The seismic time history analysis of the second site building structure is analyzed by ETABS finite element software. Comparatively studied on the displacements, inner forces and energy variation of the structure that before and after control with the fluid viscous dampers. The results indicated that seismic design of the structure with fluid viscous dampers under the second site is feasible. Ensure the safety of frame-core tube structure with the fluid viscous dampers through the time history analysis under the earthquake peak acceleration is higher than the regulations of the Code for seismic design of buildings.
