| Gas flow meter is widely used in natural gas, chemical, electric power, metallurgy and other industries, by monitoring of gas flow meter flow, temperature, pressure and other information, to provide quantitative data for gas measurement. China’s urban gas enterprises began to develop and design the gas monitoring system in the last century 90’s, through the monitoring system can real-time, accurate and comprehensive perception of gas terminal user’s gas status. But the cable technology was used when building the network in the existing gas flow meter monitoring system, this kind of scheme is characterized by poor scalability, cumbersome wiring, and it is difficult to be applied especially in the field environment for full range monitoring and other occasions. So it has not adapt to the current business philosophy and new increasing market.In view of the above problems, the intelligent gas meter system based on internet of things is designed and realized in the dissertation. It can be used to upload the information to the network, making the remote data acquisition, remote monitoring, remote control and remote monitoring of gas flow meter easier.Intelligent gas flow meter system based on Internet of things is mainly composed of four parts, which are terminal nodes, coordinator, local data management system and remote data monitoring platform. The terminal node is connected with the RS485 communication circuit to realize data acquisition, and transmit the data to the coordinator through the ZigBee wireless network. The coordinator is mainly used to collect the data transmitted over the network. The local data management system is developed by the language of Visual C++ and the database of Access, the PC machine in the system receives the data which is sent by the coordinator through the RS232 serial port. The data analysis, display and storage is completed by the PC. The remote data monitoring platform is developed by PHP+MySQL+Apache, and the OpenURL protocol can be used to obtain the data transmission to the server by adding the HTTP protocol to the local data management system, so that the network communication between the local data management system and the server is established, and the remote monitoring of gas flow meter is realized.In this dissertation, ZigBee wireless communication technology is chosen to realize the data transmission between the terminal node and the coordinator. With the increasing of the terminal nodes, the wireless network scale is more and more. In order to understand the transmission of wireless networks, ZigBee network is simulated with NS2 software, and optimized and performs comparison of ZigBee routing protocol.In this dissertation, the system completes the safe and reliable data transmission, and ultimately it achieves the network of intelligent gas flow meter. The experimental results show that the system is stable and reliable, and the wireless data transmission and remote monitoring function of gas meter is realized. The system has the advantages of simple structure, low cost, wide range of application, energy saving and environmental protection. Many problems of the previous gas flow meters are solved in this system, such as the high cost of data acquisition, serious waste of manpower and material resources, the short transmission distance and more blind spot. So the system is with obvious economic benefit and wide application value. |
