With the more and more widely use of permanent magnet synchronous motor,the overvoltage, demagnetization, high cost problem attracts more and more people’s attention. In order to solve the above problems, this paper put forward a new type of motor, permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance motor. The motor uses ferrite material, is mainly used reluctance torque when operating, has the same performance with Nd Fe B motor,which has a wide application prospect. With the development of science and technology and the improvement of people’s living standard, people have become increasingly demanding about the vibration and noise of motor. Study on vibration and noise for permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance motor also did not see, so this research has important practical significance.First, this paper investigated the research status of permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance motor, radial force, modal analysis and vibration and acoustics noise analysis at home and abroad, put forward the purpose and significance of this research, and introduces the main contents of this paper;Then according to the particularity of the permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance motor’s rotor, puts forward three motor structure which magnets placed in different ways, analyzes the spatial and temporal wave of radial force under the no-load conditions and load conditions, studies the harmonic content and amplitude, and compares with Nd Fe B permanent magnet synchronous moter, proved that the permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance motor has advantages in the radial force; Again, to avoid resonance when the radial force frequency approaches the natural frequency of the motor, the modal characteristic of permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance motor is analyzed, first calculates the modal frequencies of the motor by using the analytical method, then compares with the simulation results,which verifies the reliability of simulation results,then discuss the measures to change the modal frequency, and studies the influence of stacking factor and combined type core on the stator modal frequency; Once again, studies the vibration and acoustics noise characteristics of the three kinds of motor structure by finite element simulation, analysis the vibration acceleration and sound pressure level under no-load and load conditions, and compares with the Nd Fe B motor, proved that the permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance motor has advantages in vibration and acoustics noise; Finally,for a 1.5KW permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance motor prototype, carries on the simulation analysis, including radial force analysis and vibration and acoustics noise analysis under load and no-load condition and modal analysis of prototype, and carries on the experimental study, including no-load test and load experiment, then set up a platform for modal experimental, finally vibration and acoustics noise experiment is carried out and the experimental results and the simulation results are compared, to verify the correctness of the simulation method and the reliability of research results.
