The damage of pavement of highway traffic has been increasing, with the double increasing of the quantity of motor vehicle and rapid development of the logistics transportation affected by the fast growth of China’s economic power in recent years. Particularly, in cold zone, the pavement showed more serious damage, which affects not only the aesthetics of pavement, but also the normal service of road, even the traffic safety. Cement concrete pavement has a vital function in road traffic, in spite of kinds of pavement damage need repairing and maintaining under the combined action of a long-term natural environment and vehicle load. Therefore, research on the patching material for cement concrete pavement is obviously important.Sulphate Aluminium Cement has great advantage over pavement patching material, with its obvious characteristic of rapid hardening and early strength. Therefore, this paper was aimed at researching on Slow Condensing Polypropylene Fibers Reinforced Mortar based on SAC, including the optimization of mix proportion, mechanical property and durability of RPFRM. Meanwhile, the simulation of the damage and repair of cement concrete pavement and the research of practical engineering applications of RPFRM were carried out.The results showed that RPFRM has a good flowing property, with 0.6% sodium borate, 6% silica fume, 14% slag powder and 0.9kg/m3 polypropylene fiber. Based on this, the RPFRM exhibited good mechanical property, in which the compressive strength, rupture strength, bonding strength and the resistance of shear failure between new and old materials of 3d were 44 MPa, 5.6MPa, 3.8MPa and 4.5k N and that of 28 d were 45.6MPa, 6.2MPa, 5.2MPa and 4.9k N, respectively. What’s more, The dry shrinkage rate of the tested specimens repaired was 0.334×10-3, which is similar to the patching material.The research showed that the RPFRM has a good performance of resisting Clpermeation, SO42- corrosion and antifreeze ability, with these results that the total electric flux was 1435(C) under the chloride penetration test, the anti-corrosion coefficient was 98.7% by 150 times drying and watering cycle and the loss rate of mass and dynamic modulus of elasticity were 1.59% and 30.79% by 300 times freezing and thawing cycle, respectively.The RPFRM gained by the research showed advantages over price and better performance, when applied to repair the damage of the actual project of cement concrete pavement and analyzed by economy under the climate environment and vehicle coupling effect.
