The construction of affordable housings is the key part of the construction of the current residential area, and it is the key to ease the housing problem of the low-income people. The investigation from the topic selection background of the current situation of that of Xi’an in recent years, the construction of affordable housings is on the right track gradually, the housing number is greatly increased. But most affordable housings location far away from the city center area, related facilities is lagging behind, and public transport facilities relationship with living convenient, affordable housings is really melt in the urban construction and development, which is the foundation to improve the housing guarantee the operation efficiency and the residents quality of life amount. Pay attention to the relationship between the Xi’an housing and public transport facilities, then found that the existing problems.By this way, we can not only improve the allocation of public transport facilities, but also avoid the location of the affordable housings in the future.Based on this, the author chooses all under construction and built affordable housings by the end of 2015 in Xi’an, then angle to investigate the peripheral bus stations, bus lines, bus transfer hub from a plurality of elements, and get the data and statistics, find that affordable housings and public facilities exist problems, draws the research conclusion, and put forward the related proposal.Observed at a general view,by investigating and understanding the affordable housings and public traffic system construction and development in Xi’an city, then analysis the spatial distribution of affordable housings and public transport system, which were found to be influenced by the surrounding low density road network,the affordable housings is mainly distributed in the region where the bus station and bus line network density was lower, and the two in space presents obvious dislocation distribution.On the concrete level,the distribution of all kinds of public transport facilities in the surrounding of the various types of public transportation facilities were investigated. Firstly, combined with specifications and residents of public facilities reasonable use range, investigated the affordable housing surrounding bus station, subway stations, public bicycle rental point distribution, found that affordable housing around the bus station area allocation level is not balanced, the convenience is the poor. Secondly, the investigation of the basic operations of the housing surrounding the protection of public transport lines, and found that the protection of the surrounding bus lines operating space is significantly different, the overall level is relatively low. In the southern suburbs of the city within the second ring and the area of affordable housing around the bus line operating level is good, the rest of the poor. Finally, Xi’an bus transfer hub was assessed and investigated for the affordable housing surrounding the bus transfer hub, found that the distribution of high level transfer hub is more concentrated,leading to the distribution of the affordable housing surrounding the bus transfer hub is a big difference, the bus transfer hub level is low; the distance of the affordable housing to the nearest bus transfer hub and accessibility is poor, the public transit transfer hubs grade are low; and the distance of affordable housing recent public transit transfer hub to facilitate is accessibility and poor. To a certain extent, these problems have a direct impact on the residents’travel behavior and the choice of employment, which indirectly affect the quality of life of the residents.Therefore, it is proposed that the future of the affordable housings construction and the surrounding public transport system construction and development at the same time, the public transport facilities can be collected more convenient stock of social housing as a guarantee of affordable housings, ease the housing residents travel issues. And from the bus station, bus lines, bus transfer hub and other aspects of the specific improvement in the construction and completion affordable housings surrounding the allocation of public transport facilities, increase the peripheral area of urban road network density, building regional microcirculation bus system. Improve the residents travel conditions, improve the quality of life of residents.The survey reflects public transport facilities matching problems exist in the current indemnificatory housing, to provide actual research data for public transport facilities that around the affordable housings can be gradually improved, on the other hand can provide reference for affordable housings where to site. But also for the protection of housing public transport facilities related to the follow-up study provides basic data, to promote the gradual improvement of the housing affordable system.
